Rehearsals & Behind the Scenes

 

Behind-the-scenes and rehearsal photography offers a unique insight into a production, capturing the process, relationships and moments that lead up to opening night. These images are ideal for social media, marketing, press and documentation, helping to build anticipation around a show.

At Von Fox we photograph these moments with a fly-on-the-wall approach, allowing the work to unfold naturally without interruption.

We don’t pose or stage moments. Instead, we work quietly within the rehearsal space, observing and responding to what’s happening in the room.

This approach allows us to capture genuine emotion and interaction, the creative process as it unfolds, and honest moments between performers and creatives.

Your photographer will be Sophie Teasdale, who has photographed rehearsals and behind-the-scenes work both locally and in the West End.

Sophie has worked with the likes of the Royal Shakespeare Company the Russian State Ballet, and has photographed performers such as Alan Cumming, Christopher Eccleston, Samantha Bond, and many more, backstage before performances. 

This, plus her prior experience stage management roles, brings an understanding of rehearsal etiquette, performance culture and the importance of working respectfully within creative spaces.
